"The best thing for being sad is to learn something. That is the only thing that never fails. You may grow old and trembling in your anatomies, you may lie awake at night listening to the disorder of your veins, you may miss your only love. . . . There is only one thing for it then—to learn. Learn why the world wags and what wags it. That is the only thing which the mind can never exhaust, never alienate, never be tortured by, never fear or distrust, and never dream of regretting."

~ Merlyn in The Once and Future King by T.H. White

CULTURE

Story #11: The Year of da Vinci

We decide the future of our culture. To celebrate and nurture Western culture this year, we chose to honor the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci's passing. What a marvelous and rewarding experience it was. It was also inspiring to see packed museums everywhere—whatever the push for cultural debasement, it does not seem to be working when there is great art and music to be celebrated. We are looking forward to the Year of Beethoven in 2020!

Story #12: Divide and Conquer: The Push for Civil War

Professional interrogators sometimes employ tactics to make the environment incoherent, knowing that people will then be willing to do just about anything to return to coherence. In the U.S., we seem to be witnessing the use of these "Alice in Wonderland" methods writ large. At the same time, mind manipulation efforts to destroy the family, individual sovereignty, and the sacred—and to turn people into hyper-materialists—can now be individually tailored using software, AI, and smartphones. Unfortunately, many people still cannot fathom that mind control even happens. We saw many stories illustrating incoherence and entrainment in 2019—including politicians expressing support for infanticide, mothers trying to transgender their seven-year-olds, states adopting sex education curricula that teach children to be sex slaves, and record numbers of American men reporting porn addiction. These are all reminders of the benefits of playing to win at spiritual and cultural warfare, including focusing our time and resources on building a human culture and withdrawing from inhuman people and institutions. Boycotting and shunning can make a difference—and most of all, so can investing our time and resources in things that give us energy.

Story #13: Pushing Back Against Subhumanism

In a world where technocrats would convert people to a natural resource, there is much fun to be had in outwitting the push toward what Thomas Meyer has brilliantly termed "subhumanism"—his translation of "transhumanism." Using a digital infrastructure gives corporations and the resource-rich a sizeable advantage. Know that this digital infrastructure is completely untrustworthy. Publishers have been caught making changes to eBooks without authors' knowledge or permission. Stick with hard-copy books, small publishers, and self-publishers; you may encounter more typos (few small publishers can afford to hire editors anymore), but you will maximize the chances of reading what the author intended.

SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Story #14: Weather Warfare and Disaster Capitalism

For those who still doubt that weather warfare is real, there is a decades-old trail of official evidence pertaining to weather modification—documentation from the 1940s and 1950s from the Department of Commerce and the military about controlling hurricanes; President Johnson's statements in the 1960s about weather control as a means to control the world; numerous weather-related patents, including the original patents for HAARP; and even the trade in weather derivatives. The video of President Johnson is a must-watch (see Top News Videos, Part II in this Wrap Up). Recently, Dr. Mark Skidmore put together a bibliography on published sources on weather warfare. After one of our subscribers said that her colleague laughed at her when she suggested weather warfare was real, we sent her the link to the list of published sources. The laughter stopped. It's always a sobering moment—one that helps you start to appreciate some of the possible strengths behind the U.S. dollar's dangerous dominance.

Story #15: Quantum Computing, 5G Wars, and the Internet of Invasive Things

What happened to the idea that a person's home is their castle? The in-home dangers of the "Internet of Invasive Things"—whether it is Siri turning itself on, Alexa devices making insulting comments, or Amazon Ring conducting surveillance—are turning homes into digital prisons. At a broader level, what are we to make of tech giants' bold claims about quantum computing—including their assertion that quantum computing will be able to bust through all encryption efforts? Are we heading toward a new divide between "haves" and "have-nots" that is determined by those who are in the lead with AI and software or control from space? There is little doubt that algorithms can be written for political control as well as economic optimization—but on the other hand, history encouragingly shows us that supposedly "infallible" systems usually end up being all too fallible.

SPACE

Story #16: The Moon Is the Next Big Thing—and So Is Mars

2020 is shaping up to be a fascinating space year. We are seeing efforts to encourage young people to enter STEM programs as well as accelerated public and private investments in space in Europe, the U.S., and across Asia. The moon—both the near and far sides—has been a notable focus of activity, with renewed moon mapping efforts, India's moon probes, and an announcement by the Chinese of a $10 trillion "economic development zone" on the far side of the moon (which begs the question, who are the intended trading partners?). Do these activities hint at a potentially open, rather than closed, economy? A speech by General Kwast about the U.S. Space Force recently communicated a palpable sense of excitement about powerful new technologies and their potential to create vast wealth. Watching can help you understand the "gold rush" nature of what is happening. But let's not let ourselves be deluded by clever remarks by the military to explain away the missing $21 trillion as an investment in space—if that is the case, where are OUR assets?

FOOD AND HEALTH

Story #17: Farmageddon and the Biowarfare Burger

Around the word, small farms are under regulatory and financial attack and the quality of food is deteriorating—with the new "biowarfare burgers" being a case in point. Slipping undisclosed and questionable ingredients into food again undermines the principle of informed consent. There also seems to be an occult dimension to the efforts to debase food, as shown by the media's enthusiastic promotion of gruesome procannabilism "artwork." We have the power to avoid, shun, and stop supporting these demonic forces, but spiritual grounding is necessary. On a practical level, establishing relationships with local and regional farmers, ranchers, CSAs, and farmers' markets and starting edible landscapes, gardens, and grow rooms can and do provide numerous options for improving household food quality and security.

Story #18: The Epidemic Op

Multiple states went after vaccine exemptions in 2019, but pushback against mandates also grew. The Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (funded by a tax on vaccines) has paid out over $4 billion for serious vaccine injuries and deaths—and that fund represents the tip of the vaccine injury iceberg. Watch the Vaxxed and Vaxxed II films if you want to understand the emotional and financial impact of autism and other vaccine injuries. (A mom in Vaxxed estimates $5 million in lifetime costs for a severely autistic child; who is going to bankroll those costs? And why do taxpayers keep funding the schools that are enforcing these mandates?) The public's increasing global revolt against vaccine mandates, as documented by the World Health Organization Global Vaccine Safety Summit in Switzerland in late 2019, raises the concern that we may see an engineered epidemic that will become the excuse to force vaccines on everyone. (Note: This conversation took place at year-end just after the FDA had approved Merck's Ebola vaccine and issued Ebola warnings—and just before a coronavirus started capturing worldwide attention.)

Story #20: Geophysical Risks

One hypothesis to explain Mr. Global's apparent hurry to develop off-planet capacity is that Mr. Global may be concerned about geophysical risks. We don't know what risks Mr. Global may be managing. Potentially serious geophysical challenges include a grand solar minimum ice age; a bad nuclear accident; problems with the magnetic core; falling oxygen content; or a possible pole shift. Interestingly, 2019 saw some overlap between discussions about space and discussions about transhumanism—including the notion that humans need to be bioengineered to survive long space trips. Is the space agenda functioning as a cover story for the "subhumanist" agenda?
